Terms of service
Agreement
These terms govern your use of ProductChat IQ, a product provided by OrangeFin. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them. If you are agreeing on behalf of a company, you confirm you are authorized to do so.
The service
ProductChat IQ lets you build website assistants that answer from documents you upload and publish. We provide the service on a managed basis and improve it over time. We may change features, and will give reasonable notice of material changes that reduce core functionality.
Accounts
You are responsible for the accuracy of your account details, for the security of your sign-in credentials, and for activity under your account. Tell us promptly if you believe an account has been compromised. You are responsible for the actions of the members you invite.
Your content
You keep ownership of the documents and information you upload. You grant us a limited right to store and process that content only to provide the service you configure. You are responsible for having the rights to the content you upload, and for what your published assistants tell your customers.
Acceptable use
You agree not to use the service to:
- break the law or infringe someone else's rights;
- upload content you do not have the right to use;
- attempt to access another customer's data, or probe the service for weaknesses without permission;
- overload or interfere with the service, or work around its usage limits and abuse controls;
- use it to mislead people about who they are dealing with.

Fees
Paid plans and their fees are set out in your order or plan selection. Unless stated otherwise, fees are billed in advance and are non-refundable except where required by law. We will give notice before a price change takes effect.
Availability
We work to keep the service available and performing well, but we do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free. Planned maintenance and factors outside our control can affect availability.
The assistant's answers
An assistant answers from the material you publish and is built to decline when that material does not support an answer. Even so, you are responsible for reviewing what your assistants say and for the accuracy of the documents behind them. The service is a tool to surface your approved information, not a substitute for your own judgement or professional advice to your customers.
Disclaimers and liability
The service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties beyond those that cannot be excluded by law. To the extent the law allows, our liability arising from the service is limited, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Final wording here will be set by a reviewed agreement.
Termination
You can stop using the service and close your account at any time. We may suspend or end access for a serious or repeated breach of these terms, and will give notice where it is reasonable to do so. On termination you can export your data, and deletion follows the process described in the privacy policy.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the product and the law change, and will note the effective date when a reviewed version is published. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
Governing law
These terms are intended to be governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the laws of Canada that apply there. Final governing-law and dispute terms will be set by a reviewed agreement.
